#Manage a legal document

  1. 1
    Create the record

Go to WatheeqTech → Documents and select the document type, owner, language, confidentiality and retention category.

  2. 2
    Upload content

Upload an allowed file. Malware, content and attachment-policy checks run before it becomes available.

  3. 3
    Link the record

Associate it with its request, matter, case, contract, consultation or investigation.

  4. 4
    Create versions

Upload revised content as a new version; never replace the historical file.

  5. 5
    Archive

Apply the governed retention and electronic archive path when the record becomes final.

#Create a signature envelope

  1. 1
    Select the final version

Only use the approved document version intended for execution.

  2. 2
    Add recipients

Enter recipient identity, language, role and signing order.

  3. 3
    Validate authority

Confirm each signatory has the required delegation or organizational authority.

  4. 4
    Send

Dispatch the envelope and monitor view, sign, decline, expiry and provider events.

  5. 5
    Record custody

Preserve the signed artifact, hash, timestamps, identity evidence and provider proof envelope.
